Exercise Before Knitting

Gravatar I don't think it would look bad at all. What a doll she is!

Gravatar I think it would look cute!

Gravatar No way! And thing about the aggravation it'll save. That's super cute in its own right!

Gravatar Cute photo! And an unrelated question - don't you have another sock pattern that you wrote in the last several months? Or was it the Poseidon socks I was thinking of? Can you help me find it?

Gravatar I never would have thought of that!!! I think it would look just as cute in the back....

Gravatar Or what about sewing the bow into place? Then she could still tug on it, but it wouldn't go anywhere.

Gravatar Your baby is so cute nobody will even be looking at the bow. They will just see a beautiful baby is a beautiful sweater.

Gravatar You could totally tie it in the back... I think it would look adorable that way!

Gravatar I think tacking the bow in place is a good idea, but it would probably look just fine if you turn it around and put the bow in back.

Gravatar You could turn it around, but I am with Rachel, tack it in place if you can. She is so sweet!

Gravatar What an adorable photograph! Whatever you do, I'll be taking notes for the Debbie Bliss Ribbon Tied Tank.

Gravatar so cute!! I say turn it around AND tack it down.

Gravatar That's adorable! And no, it wouldn't look strange at all if you tied it in the back.

Gravatar nope I think that would be perfect, thats what I'm doing with the little dress i'm making.
It looks soo cute on her, but then again what wouldn't!

Gravatar I wonder if bows being pulled out is the real reason they have bows on the back of dresses? You never know. Maybe back in the 700's, or whenever they put the first dress with a bow on it onto a baby, the baby pulled out the bow in the front and the mom said, "Well, that's it. I'm putting the bow on the back!" (That is a loose translation of the Greek by the way)
Hmmm, something to think about.

Gravatar I think B is giving Cute Overload a run for its money.

Gravatar I think you've got a perfect solution. She's pretty smart, though, and she might find it again, anyway! hee hee!

Gravatar I think that a bow in the back would be very cute, assuming that she can't reach either of the ties!

Gravatar Turning the bow to the back would look cute but not as cute as your baby girl!

Gravatar I love that picture of dear Beatrix ~ She is adorable you've got to just love her up! She is always going to one up you watch out! LOL- The tie is going to look just as good in the back.

Gravatar You can only be so old before a bow behind you looks silly Bow in back I say!

Gravatar What a gorgeous baby! I think all my baby dresses had the bow in the back - now I know why.

Gravatar But if you put the bow in the back, she won't have anything to play with. And we won't have cute pictures to see!

Gravatar *L* B is too sweet for words! I love it when they "find" their tongue! The ribbon will look just as adorable in the back.

Gravatar So darn cute! And thanks for stopping by the blog - I just added you to my bloglines feed. Always glad to find new reading!

Gravatar Back, front, sewn, none - whatever, she will still look adorable.

Gravatar Either way, she'll look gorgeous!

Gravatar I think cute bows on the back of shirts/dresses are wonderful It will look great!

Gravatar who needs the ribbon?

Gravatar Not strange but cute!

Gravatar What a cutie pie. She seems just determined to rip that ribbon off

Gravatar You take really great pictures! Very cute baby, and I think the tank would look fine with the ribbon turned to the back! Maybe you can sew it to the tank in a few spots to keep it from being pulled out completely. Thanks for the compliments on baby Robby, he is definitely a baby on the move

Gravatar What a great picture! I think the tie would look great in the back. Would elastic surrounded/backed by ribbon work as well?

Gravatar I don't think it would look strange.
Also, I don't know if at knit Lawrence last week you talked about the Stitch and Pitch Weekend, but it appears that the Studio is hosting the activities and they have more info on their website.

Gravatar oh, but SO adorable!

Gravatar Very cute! Heh, looks like you have to move it to the back. Is it secured so it can't become a choking or strangulation hazard?

Gravatar haha, oh, what a great photo - that totally made my morning! i think the tie would look lovely either way - i'd go for garment longevity in this case... ~gabriella

Gravatar Actually, I think it would look ADORABLE to have the tie in the back.
Go for it!

Gravatar Cute! I was going to tell you about that. My daughter did the same thing, I'll send you the picture once I download it from my camera. I didn't think the ribbon would stand up with the yanking by baby and the washing so I chose to knit an I-cord tie instead. I plan to tie it in the back, too.

Gravatar Hi! Thanks for commenting on my blog! Sheep and wool was fab. Met lots of cool people and had a great time.
The baby sweater is soooo cute!! I think the ribbon around back would be great too. It looks amazing as is too!

Gravatar Oh how cute is that! I think she'd be adorable no matter what you did with the ribbon!

Gravatar Too cute! Tacked down, or in the back -- both will still look good ...

Gravatar Isnt that the best top to knit for kids. I love the color you chose, and I dont think it would look bad at all with it tied around the other way. It would be just as cute with a bow at the back or the front.
