Exercise Before Knitting

Gravatar So. awesome. I love that baby sweater. I've got a nephew due this summer... this may be just what he needs! (And can't you get superwash Cascade 220 now?)
Do you have any pattern notes you could share? I'd be happy to be a test knitter for you if you want to publish the pattern!

Gravatar I love that baby sweater! I need to make one of those for my expectant friends... or just build up a stash for our someday *soon* little one.

Gravatar I love this idea of wearability in handknits! I can't wait for the next installment!

Gravatar What a beautiful photo! That face. I want to kiss those cheeks. It's good to hear a positive report re: 220; I keep hearing feedback about all the pilling. But I guess little babies don't move around enough to generate that kind of friction! haha. I love that you made this in green. There's definitely enough pink in this world already!

Gravatar So good to know about Cascade 220! If it can survive baby drool, it just might survive my own wear and tear! (And what a sweet Beatrix that drool comes out of!) I *really* love the green color of Beatrix's seed stitch sweater. I love green on babies, for some reason. Something unconventional about it.

PS: I'll be looking into this Sinfully Vegan... especially after the latest cake debacle, but more on that soon...

Gravatar That is SOOO cute! Cascade 220 is hands down my all time favorite yarn.

Gravatar Love the sweater! The color is wonderful! If you like to knit for baby you should join my Pea Pod KAL. www.peapodkal.blogspot.com

Gravatar What a good idea, reviewing how baby knits hold up! It's nice to hear that the Cascade 220 wears well, and that your daughter gets a lot of use out of the jacket. Both are adorable.

Gravatar that is adorable - I love the seed stitch and it looks so good for being worn and washed a bunch - a champion yarn performer!

Gravatar That sweater is absolutely gorgeous!
I never even thought about using Cascade 220 for babyknits, but it's good to know that it holds up so well.

Gravatar That knit really has held up well. The picture and model are adorable!! Great idea.

Gravatar I love the double breasted baby sweater!! Gorgeous!! I've only ever felted with Cascade 220 ... now you have some ideas brewing for some non-felted garments ... I have some in stash ... oh, you temptress!!!

Gravatar awe, so cute! and what a great color too. i love 220!

Gravatar I'm glad to hear that the Cascade 220 is holding up so well, since I just bought some for a detailed, textured cardigan. Once I tear my eyes away from the cherubic face of your cute baby, I can see for myself that the knitting looks great.

Gravatar Wow - that's a really cute jacket! You should post the pattern. Cascade is so durable - no wonder MasonDixon chose it as the perfect sweater yarn!

Gravatar Hey, Elinor - to answer your question regarding indoor soccer - there is a league, if you want to call it that - of, currently four teams of, mainly women over the age of 25-30 with minimal soccer experience. We're getting down to the end of our season, but if you think you'd like to play next season (i.e. December) we just need to stay in touch. Email me if you think you might be interested and we'll put you on the "list" for next year (or, if you'd like to play the last few games with us, we need an extra player - we have one team member who's injured and we are in desperate need of subs).

Gravatar love to see how the sweater is holding up! but oh that baby!!!! sooo cute!

Gravatar It looks lovely! I love the color.

Gravatar I'm not sure if you read Tienne Knits but she had posted about wools that pill, and liked Cascade 220 also. I have not knit with it yet, but hope to make a Noni bag soon.

Gravatar a lovely baby with a beautiful sweater. I agreed that sometime it is hard to take a photo with bright red colour for I have experienced this.

Gravatar I came over from Yarnival, and I wanted to know what you thought of Cascade 220 superwash. Or haven't you used it yet?
