Exercise Before Knitting

Gravatar We made a ton of wipes too, and I agree that they are probably the most useful thing we made for Kaya! I made them out of teri-cloth and just zigzagged around the edges. Again, a serger would have been great, but we did nothing else to "finish" them. They fray a bit around the edges, but nothing big enough to worry about. I definitely have to say that mine are nowhere as cute as yours. Yeah for B's bum!

Gravatar It never hurts to have something bright to make that diaper change a bit more fun. We used flannel fitteds on my grandsons, and I choose the cutest fabrics I could find for the outers on them. They, too, would have taken a lot less time to make if I had a serger, but, like you, made do quite well with turning and topstitching.

Gravatar Not just wiping a baby's butt -- but doing so in an environmentally friendly way! I think this is fantastic.

Gravatar Oh man what a great idea, I *so* want to make some for expectant friends now, esp with them being as useful as you say they are.

Gravatar Completely adorable! I need to learn to use my machine and make some for my niece.

Gravatar I've been meaning to make cloth wipes since forever! We cd, but I make wipes out of paper towels. I've been buying the expensive ones so that you can wash and reuse them (I can't believe they actually hold up in the washer). Your cloth wipes, though, are even better. I'm going to be doing a class later in the month on cding, so now I have even more to include! Thanks!

Gravatar Cloth Diapers! I thought you were cool now I know for sure! As you know I don't have a child yet, but I have been thinking that I'd like to use them. Any info I find on them is welcome...so thanks a lot!

Gravatar I so wish I would have had those! They are adorable...that bottom will be singing!!!

Gravatar Not only bright and fun, but the colors will camouflage any baby stains, too! Yay!

Gravatar Yay for being a graduate student and new mom, and knitter all at once! It's so great to see others out there. You're baby sweaters are beautiful. I really hope you do write up your pattern for the double breasted sweater. (And I love your yarn color choices!) Good luck with school and everything else.

Gravatar I love your wipes, I just ended up buying a couple of multi-color bundles of the cheap-o washcloths (from Target or Kmart) and using those. They worked but yours are so much cuter!
