What is it with cats sitting in/on stuff? I toss a DVD case on the bed. Cat lays down on it. I put a shoebox down. Cat climbs in it. Read a newspaper laying on the coffeetable? Fugeddaboudit. Cat right in the middle.

You spend big $$$ on fancy cat pillows, and they prefer a flattened cardboard box. Go figure...

Also, when my parents got their second cat, while I was still living at home, I named him Alvy, after Woody's character in the movie (although I'm a tad more partial to Manhattan).
