Gravatar Oh, and Happy New Year!

Gravatar Well, totally OT, but I just found Blog d'Elisson via a google search done by one of my "Mark Of The Beast" (see URL) visitors. And trust me, it was by far NOT the weirdest google search to bring folk to our shores. SiteMeter is your friend, but it is also a whole ass-load of bad pr0n freaks, and NOT in a good way. Especially if you factor-in the "ass-load" modifier.

But this was the post that led me here, and even though it's 4 years behind times, thank you so very much, and I mean that most sincerely, without bloodshed or snark:

DROP THE CHALUPA

http://elisson1.blogspot.com/ 200...chalupa_16.html

So thanks again for all of the kind words, and please do come by and visit when y'all get the chance! Didn't get to stop by ATL when I was doing the road trips in '03, just passed through at approx. 80 mph (and was getting passed by GRANDMOTHERS, at 3-4AM!!!) , so if I ever get that Bio-Willie bus and swing that way again, I trust that I can call upon y'all as tour guides?

I'll have to think about the ten songs and get back to you, I'm pretty persnickety about music, and after 6 different radio formats, there's a huge playlist to sift-through in my head. *sigh* Ah, to be young (23), dumb, and energetic again... Okay, maybe not the dumb, but to be young... Enough whining outta me, shutting up now.

P.S. I never knew that THAT many people knew who I was back then, when I got the one Wampum nod, but it was a wunnerful experience, nonetheless. Didn't win, but it felt great to see that my rantings did not go in vain, that somebody was actually paying attention to what I was saying, and not just the number of troll-skulls that I gathered like mardi gras beads.

Gravatar P.S. Gregor, I totally adore your avatar, and if/when I get back to NOLA, I wanna be able to tranq-dart the 47-year-old dweebs who try to convince 15-year-old goth-girls that they're really "400-year-old vampires" (as opposed to viagra/cialis-addicted greasy-haired loo-hoo-hooooosers who live in their mama's backyards in camper-trailers that they call their "lair") and TATTOO THAT LOGO ONTO THEIR FOREHEADS.

Would it be okay if I inserted the word "quasi-" before "Goth" once we get the templates made?
