Lob a Chunk o' Feedback at Blog d'Elisson

Gravatar .. I am so jealous.... I've been wanting a snake or a lizard for the past year and havent had the nerve to buy one yet....

Gravatar You've got to be kidding. MY sister knows that snake is in the house...right?

Gravatar Stretch's first kill was a snake...bigger than that one...but a snake just the same.

The cats will do him.

Gravatar Um... I'm thinking the cats won't get along with him very well. Just a hunch.

Gravatar Snakes rock. The bigger, the better.

Every year at Coney Island, a guy comes around with a HUGE yellow serpent coiled around his shoulders, and he charges five sheks for people to have their photos taken with it.

I just dig the way it feels.

Gravatar If the snake gets big enough he'll probably swallow the cats...

Gravatar Are you practicing for that snake round up you're going to?

Gravatar Oooh...I love snakes.
I love rodents too-which is why I've never gotten one.
However...right before we moved from the Chicago area to St.Louis last summer my furry idiots cornered a small garter snake...in the house.
Luckily the 'brainiacs' are front declawed or the snakey would have been history.
Anyway I caught it, petted its little head, and let it go in the back yard.
The cats were mighty ticked that I took away their 'toy'.

Gravatar Snakes and cats....generally not a good mix.

On the other hand, you could look at Plissken's habitat as Kitty Kat TV.

One channel...no commercials. Slow moving plot.

Gravatar I figure that Rob probably is spinning like a Roto-Rooter right about now.

Gravatar my cat gets along swimmingly with my snakes. she's quite entranced with them actually. She, on one side of the 1/4 inch-thick plate glass, they on theres.snakes make fabulous pets.no noise, no smell.vacation-friendly.i'd be happy to hook you up with a lovely little baby boa constrictor. have at least 20 left. going fast.

Gravatar When I saw the preview for this is Bloglines, this post was at the bottom of the screen and all I saw was "Our New Pet" and the top curve of Plissken's back that is showing. My first thought?
Elisson's got himself one of those toilet snakes and is calling it a pet.
Heh.
Enjoy your new slithery friend - the brother of an ex of mine had a Boa named Legend...he was very cute.

Gravatar this "in" Bloglines...argh.

Gravatar Don't let Elisson kid ya. Morris William was on the right track; I would never let that thing in the house. My friend, JoAnn, and I found the little guy on the sidewalk by the side door. I quickly put a flower pot over him (one with an air-hole, don't worry)and left him there for Elisson to deal with. I'm pretty sure there he remains for more photo-ops later. Eric, want me to send him to you?

Gravatar ... SWMBO, I would LOVE for you to send the little fella north.... but unfortunately, The Missus would flip out....

Gravatar Erm, it's not a pet. Pets have fur. Or feathers.

Gravatar When is a name not just a name? When Elisson calls his new snake something interesting like Plissken. It ain't just a name, it's a statement about Pop Kultcha, babee!

Now all he needs is a little Harley to curl around in his terrarium. And perhaps an automatic rifle in a gunrack hanging off the side?

Gravatar G, you forgot the eyepatch - I wonder if they make itty bitty snakey patches?

Gravatar Lisa W, you beat me to it!
