Lob a Chunk o' Feedback at Blog d'Elisson

Gravatar Y'know, in trying times like these, it's heartwarming to see a bunch of guys like y'all to jump in front of us, and "bite the bullet", as it were, and partake of these "horrible, truly awful" victuals.

My hat's off to y'all. And remember, your sacrifices are appreciated by all us SRF's all over the world.

Gravatar Ya better be careful with that Consilence Grenache Blanc stuff...word on the street is that it will make all your kids be born nekked..

Gravatar Is it even legal to eat muscovy duck carpaccio?

Gravatar Interesting that the subject is Grenache, given that Alder, over at www.vinography.com, just did a deep tasting of Grenache and Grenache blends at the Rhone Rangers trade event over the past weekend. Article here.

Gravatar "muscovy duck?" I wondered what those rather ugly ducks were good for. The kids once had a pet Muscovy someone gave them. I believe that one died of old age--the rule at our little farm was we couldn't eat anything that had a name. I put my foot down when they tried to name the chickens. LOL!

Gravatar Great pictures Steve.

Gravatar As evidenced by the Guild's austerity, we surely are in recession. I'm just glad others like y'all are feeling the pain as well. So do tell, just what does Muscovy Duck Carpaccio taste like?

Gravatar Pete, it tastes a lot like Mallard Duck Carpaccio.

But a Muscovy duck is the ugliest damned duck I've ever seen. So every time someone eats a Muscovy duck, the world is just a little bit more beautiful.

Gravatar Where are all the ladies?? Is this a men's only event? I would die to be there!

Gravatar There were four ladies in attendance. I was at a table with two of them. That being said, most of the Guild membership is male. The two functions where many ladies come (wives of members) are the Champagne tasting in December and the annual banquet in May.
