Once upon a time, I was moving from my apartment to a new apartment and my 8 pound, normally biddable little cat Rocky decided he didn't wish to move! It took 4 adults nearly 1/2 hour to catch this 8 pound cat! Talk about Keystone Kops!
Sam is very biddable about getting into his carrier. I think in his mind he associates going to the vet with a major improvement in his life: the first time he ever went he was covered in fleas and very sick from being neglected. I had just adopted him and he was going in for THE WORKS - when he was ready to come home, he was brought to kitty paradise in a very real sense. He finally had a name of his own, someone to love him and he was safe and pampered for the first time in his life. So he LIKES the vet. He is a weird cat in many ways - but a cat that purrs when that thermometer is popped into THAT place is just peculiar as all get out!

I'm not sure there is much worse than trying to catch a cat who does not want to be caught.
They are beautiful ladies.

It's good you survived without needing a vet or stitches of your own. We wear full body armour when anyone here must be locked up for transport. Hakuna and Matata do not look as if they are harmed so all is well. Scritches to your beautiful babies!
