Pic 1- Looks like a package of Nestle's Tollhouse cookie dough to me. Glad I threw 'em out.
Pic 2- It's Alf choke-slamming a cat.
Pic 3- A circumcision gone bad.
Pic 4- An angle flying down to kick my ass for the comment on pic 3.

Ah yes, that famous galaxy, the Catanus Dingleberii, a known globular formation that expels both gas and semi-rigid matter in a more or less regular pattern, heavily influenced by the influx of both liquid and solid materials from extra-galactic sources.

Here I was thinking it was jets of synchrotron radiation that was radiating from a black hole at some galaxy's core. Couldn't quite make out the fuzziness I was seeing in the 'surrounds'.
