I second Michael's comment as I was about to say the same myself. These are both the most intimate and the least self-conscious of all the confessions I've read. Now that I've said that - don't become self-conscious!

I confess: to believing that my most formative theological influence may be Stephen R Donaldson's Chronicles of Thomas Covenant.
Very nice list in general, but I love this one in particular. These books have been a recurring joy in my life.

Miles apart on some things - lay presidency is a fundamental right of all christians taken from them by clergy for the sake of political control.
Congruent on other things - flirting with Rome, believeing things with total pasion and conviction only to change my mind...
