I never realised how much it bothered you. Splendid. Sounds like you should have done it ages ago!
In the days before full-time ministry, marriage and small children, I was able to recuperate the energy by having lots of peace and quiet. It's become an issue ever since that peace and quiet became rare! It's all good news though, my hearing hasn't got worse, and this might make some situations massively better.
