Facinating link Sam thanks, I must admit there's something very appealing to the Amish way of life, but (there's always a 'but' isn't there?) I have to err on the side of technology just in case someone I love needs a hip replacement or even just a tooth filled!

Technologies (stone flints or silicon chips) only ever are tools. It's humans that fulfill.
