I've been meaning to tell you that I love your Four Foods feature. Always entertaining!
I also love your cleaning ladies. If I leave anything on the counter, ours picks it up, wipes off the counter underneath, then sets it back down where I left it. I really need to get a different service, don't I? Actually, I really need to just do it myself!
American cheese? Banish it from the earth. One of my least favorite things.
Thank you, my friend! Four Foods = much fun.
Cleaning ladies -- I totally love them too! What I've neglected to mention in the post is the frantic pre-cleaning scurry about and straighten everything that happened before they came -- and we've had a few moments as things that were not in their usual places were hunted for. (Not just Max...)
American cheese -- well, I do draw the line at Velveeta.

See, I can do Velveeta in certain situations, like grilled cheese or in salsa con queso, and even their mac n' cheese is quite yummy. But I haven't had any in years and years. American cheese... blargh. I don't really like ANY yellow cheese. Swiss, Muenster, gouda, brie, monterey jack -- if it's white cheese, I'll eat it. Yum yum.
And YAY for clean counters!! I wish you could send those ladies my way. Hehehe.
Way back, I did use Velveeta in recipes, Ex #1 brought a "Velveeta keeper" tupperware container into the marriage and wanted more than I was willing to deal with, really. I had a crawfish fettucini recipe that was yummy and called for the big V. I haven't bought any in years.
YAY indeed! I still haven't cooked!

I'm envious! I'd love to have someone come in a clean for me, but how decadent would that be in a house with just one person, lol!
Into each life, may some decadence fall -- maybe give yourself a spring cleaning for a present, and enjoy it until the dust bunnies roam yet again...

"Prepackaged processed cheese product" sounds scary. Give me cheddar any day.
Yes indeed, real beats all!

PS. I would be lost without my monthly cleaning ladies.
Kim,
Gotta love the Kashi stuff! I'm totally hooked on the granola bars, too. Yes, the cleaning ladies are truly angels.
