Thanks for stopping by, leave your mark!

Gravatar OK, well. You have obviously not had good mole sauce. There's a Mexican restaurant in Washington state that has AMAZING mole. It is seriously to die for. I cannot even begin to describe it, except delicious. However, mole has peanut butter in it, so no mole for our household. It makes me sad.

It is entirely possible that I just got some yuk mole. It resembled mud, not the silky gustatory experience I anticipated. I was disappointy, to quote Maxwell. I guess a Mexican restaurant whose reputation rests on its killer margaritas should not be judged harshly for muddy mole. Mole has PB in it? Well, nobody told these guys, either.

Gravatar Ok, what in the heck is mole sauce? I'm picturing little animals. Ugh!
Thanks for playing FFOF.
Stumbled.

LOL Val -- it is actually Mo-Lay sauce, no small animals here. Here is a link to a mole recipe in recipezaar.

Gravatar Mmm chocolate croissants. Our Panera sells them but I'm sure they're not nearly as tasty as when you eat them in Paris!

Yeah, there was just something to waking up slowly with French cafe au lait and a chocolate croissant, or two, surrounded by well, Paris! I don't think I'll ever recapture that taste sensation, unless i get to go back!

Gravatar I've never heard of an egg in a chocolate milkshake!

I think it was my Mom's sneaky way of getting some nutrition into the drink - we would have it for breakfast every so often. It did add a really nice body to the drink, foamy richness!

Gravatar I had to check your complete profile because I just knew you were from my neck of the woods (I grew up in Jefferson Parish.) I really miss Heavenly Hash. And I hadn't thought about Canfield's in years, but now I'm wanting a Canfield's Diet choco! I used to buy them by the case!

Hi Skeet! Yup, I'm a yat. I miss Heavenly Hash too -- oh, they still have them, but they're not as heavenly as I remember from childhood. they started being chinchy with the almonds. Anyway, I haven't spied a Canfield's in a great long while either. I may just google it to see if it still is in production!

Gravatar LOL at Val's idea of Mole sauce. Your cheese cake recipe sounds oh so yummy.

Gotta love something that combines cream cheese and chocolate! I think I may do one this weekend.
