Thanks for stopping by, leave your mark!

Gravatar Ummmm.... Elle? It's Thursday. Even in Louisiana, I think.

Other than that, I found no errors.

BTW, Happy Cat-in-a-Tuba Day. I changed it. Come visit me for the why part.

Yes, I know. But if I don't get this up on Thursday, it is Saturday before I know it and I don't get any cred. And yes, I celebrated Cat in a Tuba Day at your place by typing in this diatribe pro-old people and cats and just decided I was way too hyped up on Valentine's chocolate and abandoned the rant. Bloody hell, Carl person!

Gravatar No, your rant's there... my blog is just playing with your head. Who says computers aren't sentient?

That's the SECOND, much calmer rant. I did one earlier that was just not acceptable, even by my hysterical standards.

Gravatar You like your drinks You really would fit in well over here!

I've never tasted an artichoke - I'm not entirely sure I've ever seen one either!

I like 'em, but I don't get to have 'em, hardly any more! Well Claire, when you go on your world blogging tour, I shall fix you an artichoke. If it turns out you don't like it, that's fine, more for me.

Gravatar Aw hell. I would've rather seen the first one... :-D

Nahhh it was sort of humorless whining, rambling off into an ellipsis...

Gravatar I love your drink selection!! yummy.

Your comment about the potato chips was hystercial.. LOL They sound delicious though!!

Yes, and I have a confession to make -- while on the phone with certain people who may or may not happen to call during meal times (not that they would know, since we have no discernable schedule to speak of in my house...) I sometimes surreptiously chomp while listening. These are just not good foods for stealth eating.

Gravatar Mmm-mmm... you're making me hungry!

Hi Guilty! Good to see you stopping by, and hopefully that's not a bad thing. I mean artichokes, after all LOL. I firmly believe we burn more calories getting those suckers edible than we consume. I'll stick with that story.

Gravatar Oh,I haven't had Zapp's in years. After we moved from New Orleans to California I had to have a case shipped in every month for my son, lol! He's back in California now (I'm in Hawaii) and he hasn't mentioned them lately. Maybe he can get me a bag!

Hi Skeet, nice to see you here -- love me some Zapp's! N.O. to California to Hawaii - wow you've had quite a trek. Let me know if I can help you get some Zapp's.

Gravatar I forgot about my love of artichokes. I'll have to add it to my grocery list now that I know I can microwave them!

Yup. Works like a charm. Watch them on that first setting to be sure you don't nuke them too much.

Gravatar I

Blair's phone rang or something, come back Blaaaaairrrrrr!!!!

Gravatar I love artichokes too, I've just never been brave enough to try to cook one myself!

Be brave, Lynne! I want to meet the guy who FIRST decided to try these giant thistles at all -- he must have been very hungry ad very determined! Really, it isn't difficult at all, if you have a microwave you trust. Just leave some water in the artichoke when you wash it (don't drain it dry) and rub it down with lemon. Yum!
