It's amazing how easy it comes to some but not to others. My oldest daughter picked up reading without any effort, reading at 4 years old. My next child, my oldest son, is severly dyslexic and struggles so much. It is a constant battle... one I fear I am losing. He hates reading but knows the importance so he "tries" but still struggles. My next oldest, who is 3 years under Garrett is reading at a much higher level than her brother, another reason he hates to read. We are coming up on #4 learning and she has a great appetite for it so I am hopeful it will go easily. The younger 3, well, we'll just wait and see
