I'm sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. Just last week I marked the 10 year passing of my own Mother. It was a long and drawn out process as well.

Medicare covers hospice. I wonder if that is why there are so many of them now and I wonder if in many ways its just a money making thing?

I'm so sorry that you and your mom were let down like that. I can't even think of anything else cogent to say -- other than it was wrong, what happened. Very wrong.
