If I were you Erin, I would definitely try for a homebirth next time and probably even taken an emergency childbirth training so you could just do it yourself if you had to again. I read once that a fast birth (although hard on mom) means everything is in good alignment for delivery.

What an exciting story for your daughter to tell though!

I guess I should have had a homebirth, since my daughter was born last week in a wheelchair in the parking lot of the hospital. We can't wait to see what they try to charge us for her delivery! A nurse tried to take credit for the delivery, saying that he "caught her" when he did no such thing. I was the only one to touch my daughter!
