I, too, am a fan of the Aldi Queen! And in response to the negative comment- I am not poor, I shop at Aldi, we eat healthy, and no one in my family is obese. : )

I buy products from the Fit & Active line at Aldi. They have wonderful salad dressings! I also love their frozen fruit. Great for smoothies mixed with fit & active yogurt & aldi milk (which is about $2 cheaper per gallon than regular grocery store milk). I think that it is about making wise food choices no matter where you shop. Our local Aldi carries some very healthy products and fresh produce. It also carries junk food. But our local big expensive chain store also carries healthy food and junk food as well. Just make wise choices!

Well Jessica, I have eight mouths to feed on a tight budget. I do it all without welfare or food stamps.
Two of the recipes we made from the Aldi Queen last week had ground turkey in them! Not hamburger - ground turkey! and it was delicious. Put it with a salad and you've got a complete meal.

I love Aldi's, personally, so I'll fit into that hateful comment (though I'd consider us FAR from poor, however I'll take the blessings, I need all I can get, as do you apparently). It's a shame, the ignorance and stupidty of that particular person (jessica) :-( Unfortunately, there's so much of it in this world that it doesn't surprise me. One may get killed tonight by a furnace blowing up, or one may get hit by a semi tomorrow. When it's one's time, it is one's time, it doesn't matter what you eat, drink or do sometimes. I'll be posting this on Amy's blog as well in response to that horrific and ignorant remark.

Aldi's is for poor people, God bless them. Eating crap like that will put you in an early grave and make you obese.

Thanks for the link, Elena! My husband does our Kroger shopping for us, and he's great at it! Aren't we lucky to have such multi-talented men?
