My dog had puppies under my bed when I was a kid. I remember leaning all the way over, peering under, with her barking at me. The babies were nasty - all slimy. That's my maternal instinct. 
I also woke my sister up that night to tell her the news, after being told not to do so. She was less than impressed.

I was (and still am) the same way about kids, I think they're cute and stuff, but I really just don't have any interest in, well, hanging out with them :op

I love babies too, other people's babies. Because you can give them back when the act up or need changing. Actually owning one sure cures you of the habit fast. They're much more fun when they're in grade school.

Pup, of course there will be puppy pictures! And I agree. I need a house so I can have one of her puppies, because my mom is willing to give me one. A puppy AND a baby. She must think I'm a saint.

Man, imagine how tired she must be to be pregnant for only two months but be growing 5 fuzzballs inside her! That would make me grouchy, too.

Poor girl, she's so pathetic. We sympathize with each other all the time. She'll stand on my lap and put her paws on my belly and look into my face... it's so cute.
God that's hilarious. I love the idea of you both padding (I'm not going to say waddling...oops) about, full bellies of babies. So cute.
Varla, yeah, I don't waddle... YET! It is kind of cute, i have to admit... but that's just cause Rosie is so cute.

Before we got Asha....it was one of my choices for an animal...I wanted small...Teacup Yorkie...But fell for my lovable Shih Tzu!

Shih Tzus are so cute too. I love little itty bitty dogs. They're so affectionate and lovable. But I like big dogs too... if I had a choice between a great dane and a yorkie I'd have a hard time choosing.

Puppies are awesome & watching them give birth is amazing. Just don't be grossed out when she eats the placenta - bet they don't show that on animal planet.

Celti, I know, isn't she? Ew... I saw an episode of A Baby Story where a woman with like 6 kids saved the placenta from each of them when they were born and buried it, then planted a tree on top of it. GROSS.
Of course the same woman had all 6 kids in the room with her while she delivered, including her 13 year old son, who had the camcorder aimed right at her vagina.

She is my canine sister though... strange as that is...
Catt, close... it's the Bee Gees. The closest I ever came to seeing anything born was seeing a brand spankin new baby cow... it was all unsteady and cute, born that day. I put my finger out and it latched right on to it. Good thing that sucker had no teeth.
