I don't know what it is about houses, but there always seems to be a lot of, " ... and if we just ...did this ... and if ..." When we 1st moved into this place we thought we wouldn't have to do anything but paint a few walls - HA! The project list has become the project notebook. However it is ours and we are, like you, building good memories.

I suspect you'll come to some project inertia compromise. It took us a while to find the common ground (our dynamic is very similar to yours), but it came.

Just this past Sept/Oct/Nov we began doing stuff to our old house. And I hear ya! Every step I take around my house I see something I want to do. Money & Time --- that's what I keep repeating to my husband. If only we had more money and time
