Nice touch on Culver's part to demand information based on an interest in making sure the public knows how the money is spent. Somehow, I don't believe the newfound concern for public spending is genuine. If that was really the case then the following would suffice:
"$XX million will be spent on keeping some dipshit protestors from violating everyone else's rights to free speech and peacable assembly. Without said dipshit protestors, the cost would be much, much less."
That's how the money will be spent, Mr. Culver. Now you know.
