I'm wondering if I should throw a Christmas or a Festivus party. Festivus would be more fun, but I don't think my apartment could handle the destruction during the feats of strength or the familial wrestling.
You might try interpreting the "feats of strength" more creatively than literally, i.e. water balloon tossing or rolling the egg across the floor with one's nose. I've heard that those sorts of antics are acceptable amongst more liberal celebrants.
