After two weeks with Cheryl you'll be an expert cook, to boot! Who does Cheryl belong to?
from Drew: for the next two weeks she's all mine. But for the last twenty-some years (she is a lady, I shan't reveal her age) she has been my sister Debra's.

I love Commander in Chief! It is one of the only shows on the television that we agree on.
By the way, I love the colourway on your afghan. Nice work!

Groovy Loops looks just luscious.
You know that the longer you knit, the better you'll get at it. I bet before you know it you will be able to knit without looking. Just like you can ride a bike without loo--- never mind, that's a bad idea.

Except for lace I knit and watch TV at the same time, you really don't have to keep your eyes glued to the screen and if it gets really interesting then I will stop knitting. You'll catch on and surpass my modest skills quite shortly.
And yes, Commander in Chief is great. That husband just doesn't get his place yet though, does he? LOL
And I think Donald Southerland does that creepy Speaker of the House very well indeed.
from Drew: I agree, he does do a great job at being veeerrry creepy!! I think the First Gentleman will come around and see that he is in a landmark role also. I'm curious to see the twist that the Prez and the First Gent will make on those "traditional" positions.

That afghan looks fantastic! I'll have to pick up my crochet hook again for that one.
I am sure you will have so much fun with your niece! Fiber, food, a woman named Cheryl...what more could one need? Seriously though, have a great time!

Groovy Loops is looking so snuggly! And I love the colors, what yarn is that?
Maybe you could teach Cheryl to crochet and she could give you some professional cooking tips?
I'm going to have to give CIC a looksy to check out Geena.
Hey maybe Cleocatra and Chandler would clean for you for some catnip?

You mean there's another way to spell colour?? *lol* That Christmas afghan is absolutly beautiful!! I'll pretend I didn't see it though if you'll send it to ME I love the show Commander in Cheif, other than Extreme Makeover Home Edition, it is all I watch on tv...besides Noggin...*sigh* the exciting life of a mom. I'd come help you clean your house, but you'd have to pay the gas money :P

yummmmmmmmmmm a culinary specialist for a niece. Dang, I gotta get me one of them.. let's see.. I've still got three of'm young enough to turn...err encourage. Ah well.
The show Commander in Chief surprized me. It is really good, the writing is tight and the acting very good. Donald Sutherland makes a very good nasty guy, doesn't he? And I'm so glad to see a woman portrayed as pretty, smart, and a good mom and a hell of a leader. Can't wait to see this play out!

Ghan is beautiful. Great color choice!! Have fun enjoying wonderful food, be certain to have an extra helping of really good creme brule for me (that is a required culinary school item isn't it?)!
Commander in Chief has me hooked. It is so good that I am certain I have to catch the episodes the first time around because it will definately be canceled. And yes, I like Medical Investigation too!

Hey Crochet Dude,
So, I was majorly bored at work today (shhh... don't tell!) and was looking through your archives. Found the picture of your "paint themed" Christmas gifts. What a fun idea! I love it! I would sooo get into prying my holiday paint can open!
Keep up the blogging (and crocheting, of course)!

Drew I also like the Holiday season, just because it seems like everyone wants to give from the heart. (My philosophy anyway LOL!!!) I like the way it is looking, the red is interesting. Keep up the good work.
