I especially like how in your photo you can see Cleo sitting on her cat perch behind you. Well, I suppose that is a reflection in your wall mirror, so she is actually in front of you. Isn't it nice to have someone in your home to take photos for you?
from Drew: Hi Mags! That's a self portrait (when you're 20 you sleep until noon every day apparently). I'm standing in front of a mirror and Cleo is behind me in another room. Tricky, eh?

Wow, that is one honkin hook! I wonder where the heck you get one of those??? I love this pic; it's actually a great self portrait of the Crochet Dude :O)
I would just put it out there; "Uhm, how can I be a good taste tester if I don't have anything to test??"
Sweater is looking awesome Dude, I can't wait to see the FO :O)

Hi Drew:
You are defnitely a giant in my book. I love your creative spirit and your funny faces. The face shot is very you. I have big hooks , but not that BIG! You can defnitely crochet an afghan a mile a minute with that. I think shawls will come out great with that. Shalom!

Wow...that is a big hook.
The grumpy Lorali thing is a long story...the gist is that she is upset with Rory for dropping out of Yale and upset with her parents for not believing her about the reason Rory dropped out. Usually she is quite chipper.

Hey Drew, nice hook Will you be at the Fiber Festival in Boerne on the first weekend of November? If so, let me know... some other FWW's are meeting up there and you can join us! Love the sweater too -- cool pooling action!

If you followed a dishcloth pattern with that hook and chunky yarn, you could wind up with a bath towel!

That reminds me of my freakin' big TOTC Q hook. Is that made of...er...wood? I'm trying not to get into too many euphamisms here because that hook looks familiar somehow...LOL The expression on your face is priceless.
I would love to take one of those and make a statuette, spray paint it gold, and give it out to a cool crocheter. Problem is too many to pick from to decide who'd get it! What would we call our award...the Hooky? LOL

Hi Drew! Your hair looks great, by the way. I like it longer.
I also have.. um... hook envy?
The sweater looks great, the stripey pooley stuff is so cool! And now onto Lorelei. You think she's grumpy? She's not grumpy! She's... um, ironic. I think. I don't know. Last night's episode wasn't the best Lorelei. When you come visit me I have the whole first season on DVD! Bet you are so excited now, aren't you? Packed your bags yet? heh heh

Honestly guys and gals, the hook is impressive to look at, but that isn't nearly as important as the user's skill level, eh?

I think you should video trying to use that hook... honestly. I know I need a laugh!
To understand the Gilmore Girls... you're gonna have to go back to the beginning... but once you do, prepared to be HOOKED...
from Drew: Oh no, you can't trick me into videoing myself. I learned that lesson years ago; and besides, there's that whole court order thing...oops, did I say that out loud?

Hey, Cowboy, that's some hook you got, yee haw! I stumbled on your blog through a link on another blog, oh, its a sordid story!
But anyway, I didn't know there were crochet dudes in the world, it makes my life so much happier.
I don't crochet, I knit, but my blog has nice doggy photos of Marcel, a spoiled Boston Terrier. Don't tell him but I was peeking at your cats, oh they are so cute!!!
from Drew: Hi Pippy, thanks for stopping by. I'll be sure to come visit you and Marcel soon! (in blogland of course, I'm not that forward! LOL)
The stripey sweater yarn is beautiful!
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello!

Once upon a time when we had a tv in the long long ago and far far away.... I used to watch gilmore girls.. Not sure if it has changed much over the years, but lets just say that Laurabee (lol) has serious issues...I felt that the writing was too quick for the acting skills of the g girls... but maybe since the stone ages (when we owned a tv) things have changed...Laurabee has a serious problem about trying to live through her daughter to win her parents approval because she got knocked up at like 16 and was treated like crap from her parents because of it. She had to find her own way (school of hard knocks style), and that is why she is grumpy... issues man, issues.
BTW drewski.... don't hurt yourself with that thing...
from Drew: Crazy Aunt Purl has offered to catch me up since she has the first season on DVD. Maybe I should take her up on it?

I'm trying to picture the yarn you'd use with that thing.....it would be more like ROPE.
Humm! I know! You could crochet a hammock with that thing!!
Heck, I think you might even manage the two trees you'd need as well.
I do like that expression!
