FIRST AGAIN!....that is just wierd.....
I love the cardinal! I really miss seeing cardinals on a regular basis, that is one of the biggest things I miss about the south. They are incredible birds. I need a project board too, that is a great idea. Let us know how you set it up..will you put estimated times and such on it? What are you going to study at school? That is exciting....
Drew: Hi Heidi, you first commenter you.... I will definitely share whatever system I set up!

You certainly have a lot of balls in the air right now. (What am I, 12?!)
What are you thinking about doing in college? Fine arts? Or are you pursuing a business degree so that you can be the next Martha???
Drew: When I went to college before I studied fine arts. Yep, I'm thinking of studying business and writing. You very wise man.... either that or I'm totally transparent!

Luckily the blog automatically edited my post so it doesn't look quite as immature...

Doing two sleeves at once is definitely a good thing. Especially if the pattern is at all complicated. This way, if you screw up, hopefully they are both screwed up the same way! I'm sure you won't have any of those kinds of problems though.

Drew,
Good for you about contemplating returning to school! All I can say is, "You're awesome!"
My hubby has gone back to school once already to finish a degree and now is preparing to go back again for graduate work. Put a full-time job on top of that, oh yeah, and a family(!) and it's a ton of work but so incredibly rewarding.
Whatever you do, I wish you the best of luck!

I'm exhausted just reading about everything you're doing right now!
Although... I could add a thing or two for ya (that I can't seem to finish) if you're feeling a bit bored and idle.

I went back to get my degree and it was great! I appreciated it so much more doing it "later" in life. That said why don't you take a couple of aspirin, lie down and think about it??? Maybe just start with 1 class to ease you into it? You seem to be doing so well right now...lots of stuff taking off...adding school will make it a lot more difficult to juggle everything. Of course, you know that I'm sure you've thought about this extensively.

Join the balls in the air group!! Sounds like you're keeping pretty busy. Back to school huh? Good for you! All the best with that venture, I'm sure it will work out to your best advantage.

Yes, I am the one who said he couldn't grow tulips: and yes, I was there in the spring; and yes, I think I may even have taken a couple of photos of those very same tulips.
~grovel~
I stand corrected! Thinking on it now it was my Mother-In-Law who said she couldn't grow tulips in Englewood Florida, even with a lifetime achievement award from the local flower club. Go figger! And it's also scary to me that I have a memory of my Mother-In-Law mixed up with a memory of Drew...

I always, always knit sleeves simultaneously. There is absolutely no guessing at length when using this method.
Drew: Thanks Regina, I think I'll do them together for sure!!

Tulips can grow in Houston? I didn't know that.
You said "balls".... {he he}
My sweater is coming a long slow. I'm curious about the neck shaping. How do you knit 49 and then bo 2? there is nothing to bo after 29 sts?
