oh my gawd! i just made a baby sweater that looks *exactly* like that. only pink. and not with boucle. but the same trim.

ADORABLE! Does the pattern give directions for teensy weensy doggie size (as in Chihuahua)? I've promised a certain little doggie a sweater and can't find a pattern small enough.

I usually don't go for doggie sweaters (if they are meant to wear sweaters, why do they have fur?...kinda like when my carnivore friend said to me, a vegetarian, jokingly, "if animals are not meant to be eaten, why are they made of meat?"...but I digress), BUT I LOVE YOUR PATTERN. Surely you didn't have a dog in the hotel room, so how did you make sure it would fit right? Because it just looks fabulous in that picture.

That is soooo cute. And what perfect timing. My nail guy wants me to knit a sweater for his toy poodle. Does it just go over the dog's head, or is there some type of fastener to close the sweater?
So maybe it's the pillow in the background, but I think it's got sort of a 60s feel to it. I'm pretty sure Fred Savage's Mom on the Wonder Years had a similar outfit. I love that your dog sweater has such style and flare! If I had a dog, it would wear only Crochet Dude original designs.

That is the best-looking dog sweater I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot.
My parents have a rat terrier and she has almost no hair on her stomach, so going outside in the snow is a problem.
Would it be difficult to extend the underneath part and lengthen the sleeves? She's built like a whippet, not your typical stockier rat terrier.

cute doggie outfit, I have a dachshund and often think of making something for him for our Washington, DC winter season when the temps get below 38 F, He is very old and can't go far, so he doensn't need to be walked anymore.

That's pretty inspiring. Seriously! And I was in Chicago right then doing Renegade Craft Fair where it was raining WAY more than it was here - and the storm was expected to do damage in our backyard, though no nightmarish evacuations. It turns out there were horrible dust storms instead.
