Hello...Newman

So when mom got home with the new baby, all the little brothers & sisters couldn't wait to see what she had bought on her shopping spree? How sweet!

I was born the same year and my mom is also a crazy shopper (I hate to shop) and just a month or so ago my dad told me I have a heart murmur. So much in common!

I wonder what that "powdered medicine" in an envelope was? I think I saw some of that at a party in college.

Thanks for the story.

Gravatar Next they'll tell you you were adopted from Korea. We could be related! Of course, that would make THL your cousin as well, so I hope you're okay with that.

Gravatar Nice story. I need Mom McPan to guest blog at BTQ.

Gravatar Maybe I can negotiate a reduced fee for y'all, but my mom is pretty tough.

Gravatar What a beautiful story, thank you for sharing E. McPan and E. McPan Mom.

My little brother was also adopted from Seoul, Korea.

Gravatar Does your mom read my blog?

I hope not, because that will make me feel very ashamed. And dirty.

Gravatar What a great story!

Gravatar We have more great stories about ---(or ---, as I still want to call her). These include her Incredible Hulk impersonations (toddler), her near drowning incident (4 or 5 yr old), endless boring violin lessons which I was lucky enough to take her to (age 3-6), and more! By the way, I got a beautiful Korean doll out of Mom's trip. I still have it. I also got a pretty good sister. . .

Gravatar That is a great story -- if (GOD FORBID) my mom ever finds my blog (let me reiterate GOD FORBID), maybe she'll write the story of my birth. It involves my dad going skiing because the doctor told him she'd be out of it for at least 12 hours so he thought he wouldn't get caught. Bad move.

Gravatar Great story -- thanks for sharing!

Gravatar My best chick friend in college was a Korean adoptee. Korean women are hot.

Gravatar Great story, and what Dylan said about Korean women is true, IMO.
