Call me Stag McPan. The more I read on this site the more I think we might be twins.
They made me shoot a gun in 7th grade P.E. back in Louisiana. They didn't make you do that in the Republic of Texas?
I never went to Canada or finished my music degree either. Actually I never started a music degree. Music? As a degree? For real?
I've got my tonsils too. And my wisdom teeth.

Holy crap - shooting was part of PE? I bet more kids wouldn't have been in band if our other option was shooting guns.
Yep, I went to college on a music scholarship. I was a music major (the degree is a Bachelor of Music - they're their own special "area" and not in a Bachelor of Arts) for two years.
I had my wisdom teeth taken out probably 5 years ago. They were making my other teeth crooked. I'm sure my parents want a refund on my braces that I had in my early teen years because now my teeth are crooked again.

It was part of a required hunter's safety course. We went out to a field and shot skeet. I had to yell "PULL", then shoot. The assistant principle was standing next to me telling me how to hold the rifle properly. That does sound crazy now- all the middle school kids out in a field with guns.
