You're not dumb, but you're the only one who feels I don't have an accent. And that's okay. I find that this accent don't hurt none too much with the ladies.*

Oh, f.k.a. FH totally has an accent.
But the "American Citizens Only" thing is the part that got me. Hilarious.
Years ago CA tried to pass some law about illegals in the state and I remember one of my friends being extremely disappointed when his girlfriend inquired about his residency status. She didn't believe him when he said his family had been in this country for over 100 years.

The absolute stupidest part was that I was taking an Italian class with this lady. Because every immigrant wants to learn Italian as her first language in America?

Most people love that southern accent, even if we can't understand most of what's being said. Sort of the same way we love the Scottish burr.

Haha. And just today I was having problems understanding just what I was being offered when the Chik-Fil-A guy asked me if I wanted pilkers.
Turns out he meant pickles.
And didn't I feel like a dumb-ass asking him to repeat THAT 4 times.

Haha! I used to have trouble understanding the people out where you are, LQ. I had a few near-misses on the public transport.

See, I thought you'd have much thicker an accent. And I personally don't think I have an accent, but that's just me.
