Darlin', you don't think the shirt was an invitation for such an attempt at a come-on? I'm not suggesting that we blame the victim here, only that a gentlemen (of which there are plenty in the South) would most certainly not approach a woman wearing such an unlady-like chemise, but a "bull" would.

I had a buttoned jacket over it. I wasn't under the impression that it was acceptable to ask a stranger to open her jacket for you so you can make weird passes at her.
