Seriously, are you really reading that many books at one time? I'm lucky to find time to read the two newspapers we receive daily.

No, I read them one after another. When I get into a book, I can't put it down! I also read a couple of newsmagazines a week (mostly skimming because the articles are the same old same old) and all my girly magazines whenever they show up. I get a couple of other magazines like Smithsonian and Runner's World, so I browse through those too. When I was younger, people probably thought I didn't have a face because it was always buried in a book. Now people probably just wish I read more.

My mom and stepfather actually bought some land in Texas to ride out hurricane season. I suppose they don't trust the levees. Go figure. Of course, it's more necessary for them since they have 374 cats. Better to move them all at once.

We are wondering if we're going to get a turn at a big hurricane this year, and wondering what kind of plans we should make (being in Boston) for that eventuality. Of course "they say" that the conditions are ripe for New England to get hit, but "they say" a lot of things.

My Little Girl reads 4 books at a time. It drives me CRAZY.

I finish my last exam today (with any luck) and then I'm composing a list of books to read.

Yes it's hard for people to figure out an untruth (not the same as a lie) when you say it so convincingly.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with a drinking problem. Except, I tend to spill diet Coke on important documents on my desk. Apparently I start tipping the glass before I actually bring it to my mouth. Not to mention the number of times I forget to lift the glass up and catch it on something on the desk. I think I need adult sippie cups or something.
