I don't even know you, so it might be tricky to get it to you. Yeah, it's probably going to be way too complicated - let's just stick with the 'praising' kudos. Or kudo. Hmmm. OK, I'm going now . . .

I appreciate the sentiment. I've gone from Kudos to Special K bars, though. They make me feel more holier-than-thou. At least, more holier-than-I-used-to-be.

Oooh, I've moved to ExtendBars - that way I feel 'at one' with the diabetics. A little odd, maybe, but they've worked for me. The ExtendBars, that is, not the diabetics. Not that I'd stop diabetics working for me, that would be very mean. And I'm really not a mean person. I kinda feel like we've now gone a little off topic. I don't even remember what this post was about. Smurfs?

Actually, the second best thing about being a professor is getting free textbooks--but the BEST thing? Boxing up those you won't use and selling them to facultybooks.com (or some such) for beer money. One year I banked a whopping $120 for books randomly sent to me having nothing to do with my subject area.
