Oh, I'm sure it wasn't that bad. FWIW, 1Ls never remember anything said on the first day of class, and they have no expectation about how it's supposed to go, so don't sweat it. And don't forget your list next time!

Well, adding to my discomfort was the fact that like, everyone else wore a suit. Give me a break - it's like a bazillion degrees and humid! I wore business casual. I thought that would be enough.

The first day sucked. It always sucks. You have no where to go but up. As you get some experience you'll get better. Teaching is as much theater as it is education.
