They must like you a bit -- I never even got a letter!
Well, I really do appreciate rejection letters, just for closure, I guess. Although I got one that wished me well in the rest of my law school career. That would have been ok, had they read the FIRST sentence of my cover letter which indicated I was a licensed attorney or looked at my transcript showing my date of graduation. Ouch. I got another one that constantly misspelled my name. Both of those were for federal positions. Your tax dollars at work.
