My mother had ALWAYS been uneasy about Planned Parenthood, so MUCH that she would NOT take me there when, at 17, I was found to be pregnant in March 1973. Now I realize that Mom may WELL have known something about PP that I didn't! |
|
I'd never seen PP as "enabler" before, but I think Steve's right on the money. The entire abortion advocacy movement is about enabling. |

I think it is sad. I have tried very hard to get my husband to think about some of the things that are not good about abortion clinc's and PP. He just shuts down and cannot hear a word of it. Like, some fanitic, he cannot believe they do any wrong. I tell him that if we are gonna throw the care of DFS and all the crisis centers at you.... then Us prochoicers must be responsible for how the abortion clincs are run..... that they give good care......... both physcially and emotional to those that come in. AND while me and you might disagree about weither any abortion IS care or not, that we do agree on this....... this is wrong....... that it was wrong when I was 15 and it is wrong now. |

Appartently PPGG in San Francisco isn't the only one using this sort of testimonial. I just found a very similar piece on an Oregon PP web site. Here's the link: http://www.pphsso.org/action/
wha...tsyourstory.htm. And here's the actual comment, just in case it gets scrapped, too: |

Here's the Google cache of the Oregon PP site for when they remove the rape testimony. |

Thanks, Susan and Brian, got me a screen grab. Will alert Dawn and also stay tuned, she sent me another bit about them lying about the patch, and also I have online AUDIOTAPE FILES of those phone calls where they told the girls it "wasn't a problem" that they were just statutory raped or literally raped and didn't need to report it. |

achromic, you're my dream come true! Now all we need is a whole movement of achromics! |
|
I'd back the Achromic Movement of America, I tell you what... |
