There is a demand for pornography in Aurora. There is a demand for heroin. Just because a demand exists does not oblige the council," he said.
WOW! I'm gonna start using that!

Is Kristen Zambo of the Beacon News on Planned Parenthood's payroll? How can she describe a birth control/STD/abortion clinic as a "full-service health center"?
They won't prescribe a refill for your inhaler. They won't give you a tetanus shot if you step on a nail. They won't adjust your depression medication. They won't treat your flu or your diarrhea or your hives or your sprained wrist.
They are not a full-service health center, any more than Jiffy Lube is a full-service mechanic.
This chick is free to think that an abortion clinic is the greatest boon to the community since potable water. But she is over the top presenting it as "full-service health care".

God love you for posting this, Annie.

I'm gonna start using that, too.

And Christina - I'm gonna start using that, too!

Thanks, John and Christina. I think many people were struck by the power and simplicity of the truth in the reverend's statement.
Do check out the videos of the Reverend saying it. Even more powerful when you hear him say it.
I would point those who argued about "abortion is only 3% of the services PP offers" to our evaluations of PP's own annual reports over the years.

20032004.html
In 2004, "Planned Parenthood probably brought in AT LEAST between $193,744,400.00 and $217,229,560.00 just from abortions alone, out of $306.2 Million in clinic revenue. Abortions represented between 63.3% and 71% of their clinic revenue in 2003-04, and probably much, much more.
Why much, much more? Two reasons:
1) Who knows if they charge more in higher-cost-of-living areas like the Northeast or California?
2) The CDC numbers [on which the above calculations are based] did not include the States of New York, California or Massachusetts, three of the largest “consumers” of abortion, nor 6 other states.
There's a lot more I'll publish in a separate post here and at PLB soon.
SINCE they brought it back up!

That post is actually here, and stirring up quite a little debate.
