Truly a Tale told by an Idiot.
All will be well so long as nobody says "Macbeth" in the clubhouse. (But hey, we don't believe in no stinkin' curses.)
Exeunt omnes,

I find it difficult to understand you taking the piss out of the finest writer the world has ever known.Your history dates back to a few short years, proudly, ours is many hundreds. It is not full of blood and glory but the battle of Agincourt was a wonderful victory, against all odds, with the longbow teaching the French a much needed lesson. We English have had many battles since then. THANKFULLY you Americans have been our saviour through 2 world wars but please don't mock William Shakespere!!!!

Martin-
It was not my intention to mock any soldiers, past or present. Or, for that matter, William Shakespeare, of whom I am very fond.
My post was intended not to take the piss out Shakespeare, but instead use his wonderful words to praise what I saw as another instance of fellowship and brotherhood. I didn't think it took anything away from the valor displayed at Agincourt to see it written small in the brotherhood of the Red Sox of last year. Much like not many might have given the British force at Agincourt a chance ( at least as portrayed by Shakespeare), not many gave the Red Sox a chance to come back from 0-3, yet they banded together, and they did. Granted, it was a much less deadly situation, but the principles of fellowship are no less important in the realm of professional sports then on the battlefield.
I do not mock the men who fought at Agincourt. Rather, I praise them, and am glad that one can find their good qualities in men of the modern day.
