Gravatar Interesting descriptions and reflections on Krakow. I'm sure Polish people did not erect the fountain because they 'were not entirely innocent of the massacre of the Jews' in Poland. We cannot be blamed for the fact that the concentration camps were on our territory, we had no say in the matter, being, like the Jews, just victims of the Nazi terror at the time. Many Poles did help the Jews, hiding them in their houses, giving them food, adopting Jewish children smuggled from the ghettoes. Many of them paid for that with their and their families' lives. You just had to live here at the time to understand it. And what did the West do to help the Jews?
Regards.
