Fabulous everything Erica )

Gravatar This dress is flattering and it makes you look much taller! Lovely dress!

Gravatar GREAT job! Doesn't it feel like "luxury" inside? I think it gives us an extra amount of confidence knowing that we are wearing something that is so well made! LOVE IT!!!!

Gravatar Erica, the dress is lovely. The back tab adds that bit extra. I am glad to hear black and white prints will be in again for summer as I have some in my stash from last summer!!

Gravatar Looks wonderful girl!!!!!!! Can't wait to make mine!

Gravatar Have to second what Tany says.
What a simple, gorgeous stylish dress and never goes out of fashion anyway!

Gravatar So stylish, the print is terrific. You look fantastic.

Gravatar Looks great and a perfect fit! Those shoes look great too they don't look comfortable, but look perfect with the dress.

Gravatar Love your diva style with the shades :oD

The dress is nice!

Gravatar Very nice Erica. A perfect simple dress for the summer. You could also pair it with a bright colored jacket....yellow or pink? The diva does it again.

Gravatar Hey Erica
You are totally reading my mind, hmm, the 3 hole dress it so hot this summer, so sizzzzzzling
yours,,, is Fabulous
one question though,, why do you put lace on your hemline, I have seen that on a couple of other blogs?
thanks
PS. I am sooo making that dress!

Gravatar Erica, I just love this dress on you. And I'm so glad I picked up a copy of the pattern so I can make one for myself. It's just perfect for summer and the tab detail is just great.

Gravatar I love your work. I do not know how to sew, but just looking at your work makes me want to make the jump. Again, great job!!!

Gravatar So fabulous! I am kicking myself for putting this pattern back last weekend when it was on sale. I'm feeling a little guilty about my stash, but all the patterns are so cute lately! I'll have to give in and get this one, too.

I have also fallen in love with linings and I appreciate hearing/seeing your techniques. Now I'm a-hankering hem tape. That looks sooo pretty ....

Gravatar Beautiful! It is soooo flattering on you and I like the black/white pattern you choose to use.

Gravatar Absolutely fantastic. There is nothing else I can say!

Gravatar fabulous dress on you. And the pique is sooo perfect for hot weather. Beautiful details and finishing.

Gravatar What a timeless style.

Gravatar Ah, but it's those 'extra things' that kick this up about three notches! Great dress...it looks fabulous inside and out!

Gravatar Love it!!!Like Toya was asking why you put lace on the hem?One thing about your sewing is the insides of your clothing looks as great as the outsides.Great JOb!!!

Gravatar Wow, it is gorgeous!! Black and white prints are very big in Paris too this summer - I love it too!

Gravatar Looks lovely!
What do you line your summer dresses in? More batiste?

Gravatar Very Cute as usual

Gravatar Like your other projects, this turned out fabulously. I'm curious about the lace on the hem. I've seen this on other garments and wonder if it's just a little fun detail or if it serves another purpose?

Gravatar awesome! so classic and stylish and another compliment to your photographer! Great pics again!

Gravatar Fabulous job; fabulous review!

Gravatar Hot, as usual!

Gravatar Ugh, I'm kicking myself, too, for putting this pattern back when it was on sale. I did not note it was suggested by Erica B in my PDA!

Gravatar Wow! I wondered which version you were making! Like how you used just one wonderful piece of fabric to make this great dress! Maybe I should move my dress up to the top of my sewing list!!!!

Gravatar Have I mentioned you look WAY too good to have a 17 year old son??

Gravatar When I have three kids, I want to look and dress like you. Oh, who am I kidding, I want to be you now!

Gravatar you are so adorable. i love everything you make, and it always looks so great on you!

Gravatar You are so fabulous! Even the insides of your clothes look great!

Gravatar Ditto. Here's my question: what does an A-cup girl do with a A,B,C-sized pattern like this?

Gravatar You have made an incredible dress! I am not one to get jelous, but I do feel myself turning an ugly shade of green. : 0 )

Great job.

Knitters-Delight

Gravatar Hi MaryBeth,

The one I've used just included 3 or 4 bodice pieces and you use the one you need, the notches and everything then line up with the skirt and sleeves, but you have the right amount of ease in whichever bust size you are.
Hope this helps!
Pamici

Gravatar Gorgeous dress. I want to line mine too, but I am stuck on what to use. I am concerned that batiste would not slide as well on the body as bemberg. But Bemberg would not let the dress breathe like cotton does. Decisions, decisions.

I love the fabric you used. It is scrumpous. And the lace at the hem is a beautiful finishing touch that looks pretty in case it is seen. All in all it is just beautiful, beautiful work.

Gravatar Thanks ladies for all of your wonderful comments!

Toya, Pamici, Gold & Stephanie,
Really and truthfully, the lace hem tape is a personal preference of mine. It's just the way I choose to finish off a hemline. Lace hem tape or bias seam tape provides a nice flat hem that won't ravel, looks neat and it's pretty! LOL

Gravatar Cute dress!!

Gravatar I like your hair up too!

Gravatar Oops, I meant to say what does an A-cup girl do with a **B,C-size pattern**? This pattern isn't cut for a small-busted gal like myself.

Gravatar You are one sassy lady! I love that shift dresses are back.

Gravatar You better work that thing girl! Too cute!

Gravatar That is one beautiful dress!!

Gravatar Gosh, I'm running out of superlatives for your work! Amazing, as always.
