Yes, it was a very quick knit for me as well. I just finished and I'm thinking about doing another. I tried the mirror shot for my GG. What a pain.

It looks like it's off to a great start. The self portrait is definitely more work than people realize. I bought a tripod thinking that it would help but it actually takes more work to use one of those things.

Looking good Erica! I am so guilty of not cleaning the mirror when I take pics of myself. My pics always include me, the flash, and toothpaste. I'll try to keep that in mind for next time though.

it's looking great!! how are you finding the sizing to be? true to the pattern? i've been waiting on starting because several people in the KAL have had problems with sizing.

As far as the size, so far so good. I really won't be able to know for sure until I get past the bust area.

I've been guilty of the dirty bathroom mirror myself. You never notice it until you upload the photo. When I realized that I couldn't "photoshop" it, I just got out the Windex.

I do the mirror thing...and I try to move so that I can crop the spots on the mirror out. Green/Brown Gables is looking great...dontcha love it when it's interesting and quick?

LOL, I have my dd take my pics! She's only 9 but she's pretty good. I can't do self-portraits & DH is so puzzled by the whole blog thing, he just doesn't get it at all!

When people click through the ring code, they will not see your site. It will say "this site is not part of the ring" Please paste the correct code so I can stop having to see it pop up on the management screen at Ringsurf!

That brown Cotton Fleece looks amazing! In the photo, it has a beautiful sheen. I'm using Wild Sage (the same color on the model), and I think I'm a bit envious of yours!
