Gravatar Oh my. The things we did with old jeans. I made purses, maxi skirts (yes, maxi is what we called them), and well, that's pretty much it! I am now feeling like I need to make another skirt. Gosh knows, I have enough pair of levi's in my closet that no longer fit (and that could use a bit of fabric in that in-between-the-legs part...)

Gravatar OK, when I go out & buy a sewing machine, can my DH blame you, Erica? LOL. Good work, girl!!

Gravatar i've been thinking about doing this for a while now and i like these instructions better than the ones i have already. THANKS!!

Gravatar looks great!! and with a few trips through the washing machine, the hem will fray and it'll look even cooler i love recycling clothing!

Gravatar That's cute Erica. I want one! Still haven't bought my sewing machine yet, but i have bought patterns and some fabric, lol. What about a matching bag? You can definitly make a cute bag out of a pair of jeans. Either sewing or knittin!

Gravatar Very cool! Good plan, too. If the other two want one it will buy you a little more quiet time!

Gravatar cool Skirt.. Great job.... I know your daughter was happy....I too have jeans in top of my closet wondering what to do with them. What a cool idea.... Now like some of the others when i do get a sewing machine i have some projects to work on lol

Gravatar You are off the seam... that is a fantastic project... I definitely need to do that... while at the mall... my daughter is constantly asking me to buy her vintage denim skirts and must admit... I have said it a million times..."for that price I need to make it"...great job.

Gravatar Very cool indeed!

Gravatar Cute skirt..what a great idea!

Gravatar nice job!!!

Gravatar What a great idea. It's so cute. I may have to make one myself!

Gravatar Wow! Cute skirt. Thanks for admiring the blue shrug I made, afterall, you are the reason I found this cute pattern. I'm busy with shrug #3!

Gravatar Wow that is really cute!! This is my first time visiting your blog and i am SUPER motivated now!! You are so talented thanks for the motivation!!

Gravatar So cute! And might I say, check out those legs! I might have to give this a try, I noticed that you got a new sewing machine for Mother's Day, Me too! I got the exact same one and I love it. My previous machine was my Husband's Grandmothers old machine - so I was in need of an update. The needle threader is my very favorite part, but I'm no pro so there are probably lots of things that it can do that I don't even know yet!

Gravatar they look fabulous, which reminds me i have a couple pairs of old jeans i can transform them into a mini!
