I agree about the Knitty issue. She did write on her blog that there will be another issue to come with better Summer apparel patterns. Hopefully, there will be something fun in there. Happy knitting!
Wow! did you come up with that clever shitty pic. I almost choked when I saw that. The summer issue is always a themed issue and this summer it was the "extremities" issue. Nothing like hot socks and hats in the summer to get you all excited.

I saw "The Devil Wears Prada" on Monday. Meryl was terrific, and Anne Hathaway is adorable. How could anyone thinks she's fat?

Definitely agree with you on knitty. I don't mind so much that it's accessories or extremities.. but dude, hats, gloves and socks in a summer issue? Makes no sense to me.
i'm with you -- i love knitty, but i'm just not a sock gal. i get much more excited for cardis and sweaters and camis. but i think a lot of folks out there are psyched for all the new extremities patterns.

Y'know, as long as I've been checking out knitty, I've only ever made one pattern. I love those fingerless gloves and the bracelets.
the new Knitty sucks the big one. when i looked through the patterns yesterday i was thoroughly pissed. i was expecting more.

Erica ~ I too loved The Devil Wears Prada ~ managed to see it twice during the 4 day weekend but it was so worth it. Will own the DVD when it comes out. Emily did have some of the best lines in the film!
Just stumbled on your blog and love it! How funny: my daughter and I saw The Devil Wears Prada on Sunday afternoon, and then she went straight from there to see Superman Returns (I went to the beach: I live practically straight south from you in Florida).

Wow, that Shitty thing had me rolling! I was not too happy with the newest issue either, as there was really only one pattern that I see myself making!
