Gravatar absolutely stunning! you're really inspiring me to sew more! i wish i had the time

Gravatar Another great dress. I love the change to the pockets.

Gravatar This is a great dress and I love the color. I have always been a fan of the shirtdress--chic and elegant, even in a casual setting. The straight skirt looks good on you. You can easily modify the shaping of the skirt at the side seams. Measure out 2/3/4 inches from the side seams from the back & front skirt hems and using your yardstick redraw the cutting line up to the hip. Measuring out 2" from each seam will give you a width increase of 8", 3" out would give you a total increase of 12", etc.

Gravatar Thanks a lot for the info, I'll have to try that the next time I use this pattern.

Gravatar Beautiful, Erica! I love that color!

Gravatar Gah! You and your gorgeous self and your gorgeous dress

Gravatar Love this green dress!

Gravatar saw this on flickr already and just have to say it again: wonderful!
it turned out to be a piece of wearable art.

Gravatar Your set in sleeves are most exquisite! I don't like sleeves... they gave me the hardest time in school. Zippers too.

I am inspired nonetheless though!

Gravatar I have to say a prayer before I do those invisible zippers! They still kick my behind.

Gravatar Fabulous, I love shirt dresses. Also, ever since you described how to do a pleated pocket, I've been seeing them everywhere.

Gravatar This is my first time visiting your blog. I have to tell you what a fantastic seamstress you are!!! Oh my goodness! I'm especially impressed with the fit of your garments and how the styles you choose are so perfect for your figure! I sewed my own clothes for years and finally decided to stop because the fitting is such a challenge. You're very skilled with the needle and thread! Kudos!
