Gravatar Your jacket looks wonderful!!! You did a fantastic job as always! Love all the little details!!! That chain looks good!!!! Thanks for linking that blog! I will have to try that..one day! LOL

Gravatar I love the color you added to your wardrobe. This is such a great pattern and you finished your garment with wonderful details.

Gravatar Wow, this looks SO much better on you than on the pattern. I never thought that jacket or pattern was very attractive. However I love your jacket, belted and unbelted. In fact, it looks like something I would love to wear. I can believe the difference, it's usually the other way around that the clothing looks worse made than the picture on the envelope. Great job!!

Gravatar Love your version. I agree much nicer than the pattern envelope. The colour looks fab on you too!

Gravatar This is the jacket to make! Love all the details and the red looks great on you.

Gravatar Nice job!! i love the color and the added detail of the chain idea. Any chances of seeing the chain modelled? Either way you did a wonderful job.

Gravatar Gorgeous! You look lovely in red, and that looks expensive!

Gravatar Beautiful!! Looks great on you. I didn't like the jacket on the pattern cover, but you've made it look so much better.

Gravatar Gorgeous jacket and it looks wonderful on you! The colour is indeed great to add spice to a monochromatic wardrobe

Gravatar Wonderful color addition! The red will work perfectly with black/white as well as jeans. I love your details of the hang chain and covered buttons.

Gravatar what can I say,, awesome, that color really pops!

Gravatar Very striking jacket. Looks great on you. Covered buttons were the right choice.

Gravatar My favorite color and a great pattern, interpreted by a highly skilled dressmaker! PERFECT! I love it, Erica!

Gravatar I love the jacket on you.All the details you did make the jacket look even better.Job well done Ms Erica B.!!!!

Gravatar Wow, you certainly went all-out on this jacket! Well done!

Gravatar Beautiful color and I agree that yours looks much better than the pattern picture. Nice!

Gravatar What a wonderful splash of color to add to your wardrobe. Love the hang chain.

Gravatar You are making me want this jacket more and more. And what a great color.

Gravatar Erica, that is a sharp jacket. I like the details and the color pops.

Gravatar niiiice! and chic.

Gravatar I bought this pattern during a simplicity pattern sale this weekend. Yours looks great. It looks good in the color you chose.

Gravatar The jacket is great but that color looks awesome on you!

Gravatar Seriously, where do you find the time to sew these amazing things?! You post these things so often and they're always so awesome. I feel so ashamed that I only pull out the ol' Huskavarna Viking once a month.

Gravatar Stunning. That color is brilliant on you.

Gravatar This pattern certainly is the new "IT" jacket! Yours looks fantastic, and after seeing this I'll definitely be picking one up myself. (Of course finding time to make it is another matter.) Thanks for the buttonhole link!

Gravatar You are such an inspiration. I am african american and I love fashion. I absolutely love visiting your site. Thank you so much and keep doing your thang!

Gravatar AAAAHHH!! You know I LUVS it!!!!!

You and Adrienne must of had a sew-a-long! :o)

Gravatar fantastic! The buttons and button holes really look professional, and the seams, really really nice.

Gravatar I am SOOOOO excited about this pattern. It is my next project and you and Adrienne have inspired to me to get to it!! Your red is extra live and fabulous!

Gravatar Beautiful jacket. I'm so trying to get a copy of this pattern. Hancock's and Joanne's were sold out!

Gravatar Love it!!!!

Gravatar that colour really suits you and the you have done a great job, now i am just going to knock it off you. Great work Erica!

Gravatar This is a wonderful color on you. I am a beginner sewer so I can only dream for now. I did purchase this pattern, after reading the magazine. I am not confidant enough to try it yet.

Gravatar I like how you changed it up and added some different details! The fabric, the color and the bound buttonholes are wonderful changes that make your jacket distinctly different!

Gravatar It looks sooo good on you and that color is great against your skin tone

Gravatar That colour looks great! I have checked this pattern out as they used it in Sew Stylish magazine. Is it true that the magazine is no longer going to be printed? Goregous job.

Gravatar I had so much catching up to do and I was oh so thrilled! The homecoming dress is fabulous. Amber looks so pretty! And your new coat in this post is fab. There were so many other fab things, but I had to cite those off the top. Great work, Erica!

Gravatar Fabulous Jacket.

Gravatar I love it! thanks for the review!

Gravatar I don't like this jacket...in fact...it's the worst thing you've ever done. I don't see how you can stand to even have it in your closet. You should pick it up immediately and send it to the homeless shelter. Yes...I know the address. It starts with 13700.

Gravatar Wow. I have that pattern, now I want to go start it immediately. And you wear it with the flair I have come to expect...that I try but never quite manage to imitate!

Gravatar I have to say too that I haven't been that impressed with this pattern. I think the pattern envelope version is ugly, but (and I've always liked red so. . . . ) I really like your version!!! What kind of "Faux Suede" is it? Where did you get it? In one of the photos it almost looks like ultrasuede.

Gravatar I love the jacket!! I like the edges on the belt, nice and crisp.

I need to get cracking 3631. I want to make that jacket and the jumper in a double knit.

Gravatar That's really cute!!

Gravatar You jacket turned out so nice! You and Adrienne are tendsetters for sure!!

Gravatar Erica, your jacket looks great you are such a trend setter. I read your blog almost everyday and get so inspired by it. Thanks a million.
May I use this comment space to contact any bloggers from the U.K. Could they let me know of any sites in the U.K. There are so many good ones based in the U.S.A - and they are extremely helpful but I can not find any sites or sewers based in the U.K.
thanks

Gravatar Oh MY!! I want that jacket!! It is fabulous and looks great on you. I am going to go crazy at Joanns in December!

Gravatar This looks amazing on you!!! Just absolutely beautiful. It brought me out of lurkdom. LOL.

~AP

Gravatar Oh yeah - this is really wonderful. And you look great in it! YOU should be in the pattern catalogue instead of the picture on the pattern....
