Gravatar Ah this version is soooooo HOT! I have this pattern too! Nice to see it works out well.

Gravatar *Fabulous* springs to mind Erica ! This blouse is another great example of your style and fashion talent. Keep 'em coming

Gravatar What a great wardrobe addition! GORGEOUS!! You are right, the sleeves really set this blouse apart! HOT!!!

Gravatar Love it! You can wear this from now right into spring. The bonus is that you've found a great pattern to customize to your liking.

Gravatar Yep... this is a classic one! Have to keep this in mind.... absolutely beautiful!

Gravatar Wonderful blouse, love the sleeves, great job.

Gravatar I bought a wrap dress last October in Panama with these sleeves and have been trying to copy it since. Thanks for posting the review. This blouse is hot.

Gravatar Love, love love this top!! Very cute!

Gravatar That is a very nice shirt, Erica! I love white shirts myself.
I especially like the way the collar band turned and also the perfect collar points. Lovely!

Gravatar Beautiful!! I love crisp white shirts, especially ones that have a special detail!

Gravatar Your review of this blouse on PR was the first thing I saw on the Internet this morning - it is fabulicious!!

Gravatar I got this pattern at the $1.99 sale at Joann's this weekend. Thanks for the review. Love this look.

Gravatar Love a classic white shirt in all variations. It is always a staple in my wardrobe. Nice job Erica.

Gravatar As always, you are right on trend. Love the sleeves.

Gravatar I hit JoAnn's this weekend for their 2.99 sale on McCall's patterns. I bought a pattern similar to this one.

I can't wait to be done with my current sewing project.

Gravatar If you love the way this pattern has turned out you should transfer it to oaktag (hardcard) so future use.

Gravatar I really love this shirt!!!!!

I did not know that McCalls have the cup sizes now! Hurray! Glad you wrote about this.

The sleeve thing, you are right it is hot. I got to learn to like it!!!

Gravatar This one is great! I love princess seams too. And I don't clip mine when I sew them ~ I just press them carefully over my ham to get them as flat as possible. I don't like the show-through of the clipped seam. I can see this in loads of fabrics and colors on you! Great job!

Gravatar I found your site and the DIY 101 and was wondering if you had a DIY 102 for the beginning sewer. I went to Handcocks but didn't know which sewing machine to buy. What brand? How about Janome? Which size? I'm going to get the book you recommend as well. I'm off to NYC in 2 weeks (back home) and wanted to get some fabric in the fabric district. Sorry for the long post. Love your work.

Gravatar Oooh - LOVE it. Too funny - this pattern is totally on my fall wardrobe list. Glad to know it has good bones!

Gravatar love the white shirt, it is a classic and the new patterns you got are fabulous, I was also looking at the jumper as well, I'm loving the tailored look.

Gravatar I love it!!I know it looks great on you!!

Gravatar I love bell or flair sleeves! It definitely is a nice variation to the classic white shirt!

Gravatar The white blouse is lovely. I do wonder how you make buttonholes and if you're holding your breath while you do the one on the collar stand.

Gravatar I love this top. I was not aware that McCalls had patterns for different cup sizes. This is something I really need becasue I am a DD cup and could use all the help with fitting I can get. You blog really inspires me.
