Gravatar Very nice machine girl!!! Glad you guys had fun, but no, not much productivity on my end! lol

Gravatar Yeah you did have a nice weekend!

I was semi-productive :op Didn't get done everything I wanted to get done!

Have a wonderful week Erica!

Gravatar I think I'm interested in seeing Tank too.

Gravatar I'm glad you had a nice weekend - oh and definitely glad to see the pictures of Tank. Goodness.

Gravatar Fun weekend! Love the new machine!

Gravatar That's one great toy Erica!!! Lots of nice features with all the Disney designs too. I'm betting your DD has eyes on it too ))
I caved in and bought an embroidery machine a few years back and found it totally addictive.

Gravatar congratulations on the new machine!!! And I love that Australian Stitches magazine - I wish I could find it locally.

I made a donut pincushion (scented too) this weekend!

Gravatar I appreciate the free shots of Tank in a wifebeater

Gravatar Hi, I LOVE your blog!! I visit just about everyday to see what you've created. You have been so inspiring to me (and my daughters) that I've got back into my sewing for myself and my granddaughter. I'm new to blogging and trying to figure it all out. It seems like fun. Thank you for all the inspiration.

Gravatar looks like tons of fun. I love the summer free concerts. We have somewhere to go almost every night in the summer here in sunny southern california. Most start at the end of june and we get to see top notch bands. Ans as expensive as it is to live here, free is always good. My weekend was quiet and lazy. Church, breakfast with friends, book club meeting and knitting and crocheting and knitting and crocheting. Check out my blog to see my progress!

Gravatar Ahhhh, Tank! Yeah, I'm interested in seeing him too! Nice shot of the guns, lol.

And that Cupid Shuffle song drives me absolutely batty. UGH!

Have fun with your new toy.

Gravatar I love stitches magazine. Haven't been able to get my hands on one locally lately...I guess I am going to have to break down and subscribe. Kewl new embroidery machine...can't see what you bring forth from it! *smile*

Gravatar Hi Erica,
I'm new to your site by way of "The Fashionista and Baby"...I've always wanted to sew, but never felt I would do very well. In high school, I had a sewing project to do and boy did I need help...I'm sure Mrs. McCain, is glad it's over...smile. I want to know what advise would you give someone wanting to learn to sew, as well as what kind of sewing machine to purcahse? Have a Great day and my weeekend was a rather good one!

Gravatar Gotta love free! Even if the concert wasn't so good, you would have had a nice afternoon out with the family.

Gravatar Dontcha just love the freebies in the park! At least yall had celebs and not some ole local band.

Gravatar I was productive this weekend (Sat & Sun). Can't ask for much more.

Thanks for the Tank Candy!

Gravatar Wow you had a great weekend!!Great photos too!

I have that same sewing machine.I broke the self threader and I have to put it in the shop to get it fixed.I love it!!!

Gravatar Hey! I've got a Brother embroidery machine, too. It's nice. Free is good, but at the end of the day you do get what you pay for. LOL.

Gravatar An adorable machine, Erica. My grandmother has created the ultimate sewing room with every little sewing toy you can imagine, including an embroidery machine. It sounds as if you're well on your way to doing the same.

Gravatar How fun - I can't wait to see what you do with your new machine. I'm looking forward to trying monogramming as well.

Gravatar Oooooooooh...can't wait to see what you come up with using the new machine! That's gonna be some FABULOUSNESS!

Gravatar you inspire me to at least learn how to sew on a dang on button

i love your style. can you help me? i am stuck in a rut with my fashion sense.

Gravatar Nice machine Erica. Thanks for the heads up on the Australian Stitches magazine--I may be able to find that locally here at Books-A-Million. Those photos you showed of the mag look really intriguing! By the way, love your version of the shift dress in the previous post--you look wonderful in it.

Gravatar OOOOO, machine lust. I've never allowed myself one of those. This weekend - well, I combined productivity with pleasure: Cut out and started to sew a little cotton dress and had a little bit of a weekend out in New Hope, PA. Have realized that one of the reasons I invariably sew things without sleeves is because...with my big bust, I end up with an armhole that is too low, so the sleeves just don't work. One of these days, I hope to find someone who can show me how to fix that situation so that a) the bust fits and b) I can raise my arm over my head without pulling the entire side of the dress up. Any takers?

Gravatar Nice toy!

Gravatar Dear Erica,
Congrats on the new toy!
I'm thinking of upgrading my Brother to this Disney version you just got. How do you like it? What does it do besides Disney designs? Does it require extra embroidery cards? Is it in any way programmable? I'd like to hear your thoughts about it, hope I'm not annoying with all my question

Gravatar Mirela, to be honest... I haven't really used it a lot. I've just done basic monogramming. It has a lot of Disney designs and some basics. A few lettering styles. But if you really want to do a lot, you would need to buy extra cards and the PE Software.
