Now, are you gonna combine some knitting with sewing? The results are interesting; long as the weights match, no problem. When I sew the two, I use a straight stitch, keeping my finger behind the presser foot, to stop stretching. But I just purchased an overlock, so that should help.
My job is now located across the street from Elegant fabrics and they're having a sale on raw silk and wool for the fall. Do you want me to send you some swatches? The colors are awesome, and this will give me an excuse to go there on payday. :-D
Oh, Erica, how could you????!!!! I didn't even know about that website. But I just HAD to see what 'Flair' looked like. So cute, so trendy, so I must have it. And then there is the "Somewhat Cowl' or something like that. I had just managed to convince myself it was too sexy for work and noticed her modeling it with a pencil skirt. Aaggh! It's not like I don't have two other knitting projects stalled half way. One I'm bored with and think I hate, the other is more for spring and summer so I figure why bother. Sigh, well maybe I could fit in just one more......Looking forward to seeing your completed project. The yellow is very pretty!
