OMG! I can't believe you found the EXACT RTW! IGUESS "Hot Patterns" are based on RTW!!!! Normally, I wouldn't go for that type of top pattern, but I really like the seam detail with the turquoise stitching.
And BTW, I went to Hancocks today, (as part of my "free to do whatever I want to do birthday day"). I have to tell you that I'm always inspirred by the fabulous fabrics you seem to find there, and truth be told I used to find fabulous things at the local one that went out of business, but now the only one left around here is about 25 miles away, so needless to say, I don't ge there very often. ANYWAY . . . . I didn't find any fabulous fabrics, except for some of that red wool you used for your dd's dress. Oh, I think I spotted the blue stripped shirting fabric for that latest shirt you made.

Uh hum, please excuse the mis-spelled words before. DH was yelling at me to come eat my b-day dinner! It's a rare occurence when your children and dh prepare a meal - at least in my case! - right now they're making final preparations having to do with my presents.
Anyway, I was trying to say that I've been trying really hard to come up with a reason to buy some of that lipstick red wool, but the the "wool-wearing" season is pretty short around here. I DID purchase some poly/lycra solid yellow. You definitely influnenced that decision! And now I have to link to Adrienne's blog to check out what pattern she used for some white (linen, I think) capris that she made for a cruise (I think). At any rate I liked them, and I have to remember to add her to my "favorites". Can you tell I've had a few glasses of wine?

I am impressed that you found the RTW that these patterns are based on! I am thinking about the three knit tops pattern. I can see you wearing the sailor pants.

I just find it funny that Hot Patterns copyrighted patterns that are basically knock offs of RTW, lol.

Thank You!!!
I've never made anything but a free purse from hot patterns.
Are their instructions good for their clothing?
How good it the fit?
