Gravatar Erica, you have been keeping me entertained at work today with all your posts! Congratulations on getting there. Great outfits!!

Gravatar Yay! Glad you made it in time!

LOL@ sewing project runway speed lol

I have had this pattern for the longest, you have inspired me to pull it out!

Gravatar Congratulations on finishing, the wardrobe is fab!

Gravatar Your Warderobe is definetly one of my favorites. Glad you made it in time. Every garment is awesome!

Gravatar What a lovely mini-wardrobe. I love th freshness of the colors and the variety of the siluettes.

Gravatar Sewing mojo is evident here! Nicely put together, Erica.

Gravatar Great job on this mini wardrobe. I have to have this top pattern now. It is SO cute.

Gravatar Beautiful. The canary colored jacket is still my favorite. But it all works so well together. Great job!

Gravatar very cute!

Gravatar Everything looks gorgeous. You are so inspiring.

Gravatar Erica, it sounds like you are ready for a new challenge. Are you up for a sketching class? (I'll bet you can already do it.) Or, how comfortable are you with design? You seem to be the kind of person who needs a new challenge all the time, not a new version of an old challenge. Just thinking...Maybe, designing clothes is in your future.

Gravatar He, Erica -- Beautiful work as always. I was wondering about the Vogue wrap dress. It looks like a pattern for wovens from the front of the envelope. If so, do you just go down a size to get the right fit? Also, what is the Kwik sew pattern number for the wrap dress? Thanks Susan

Gravatar Hi Susan,
It's a pattern designed for knits. The Kwik Sew pattern is 3489.

Gravatar Very pretty wardrobe. I really think yellow is a great colour on you. The wrap dress is lovely. I'm very pleased to see the Vogue top made up. I recently bought that pattern and was perplexed about the zipper, too, so I will go ahead and make it without. You have a wonderful eye for putting things together and this wardrobe is very stylish, as all your work is. Thanks for the continued inspiration.

Gravatar Thank you Erica. A quick trip to Hancocks and I now own both patterns. Not sure which one I'm going to use yet. I was thinking about you as I was wandering Hancocks because you seem to always find such great stuff. I found the usual nothing....But I did find some great rayon knits at Joanns so i guess I cant complain too much !

Gravatar It's a great mini-wardrobe...but I hear you completely on the obligation sewing. It's as if, once committed to a series of garments, the motivation to carry through goes "Zip", and is gone.
You've admirably pulled it off - the combinations are fabulous.
I love all of it, but especially the yellow jacket and that white knit top.
Now go sew something you're inspired to sew.

Gravatar That's a really beautiful wardrobe! Good luck with the contest.

Gravatar I just found your blog today! All I can say is WOW. I am starting sewing, and your site is very inspiring! I have gotten a lot of ideas from your photos and I'm glad you note the pattern brand and numbers, very helpful.

Thanks for the ideas, keep on sewing. I wish I did not have a full time job, then I'd be able to do more sewing!

Mary

Gravatar Congrats to finishing your entry to the mini wardrobe contest. I love what I see. I too have wondered why some jersey patterns have zippers. Isn't more difficult to add a zipper in jersey?

Gravatar I love your wardrobe! I went to vote for you but I haven't been a member long enough. Still, I think you should win after looking at all the entries (although the man's outfit is good too). You are inspiring to me--I've sewn since I was a little girl but not much in recent years.

Gravatar Great Wardrobe! Congrats on finishing on time. Wishing you much success in the contest!!

Gravatar two questions:

which dress form is that? do you like it?

we have very similar body types and I'm in the market for one. Thanks!!

Gravatar Love it! That yellow just makes the whole thing pop!

Gravatar Yellow is your color!! I understand the like/dread relationship with contests. The pressure of a deadline can zap creativity, but what a lovely mini wardrobe!

Gravatar @ Jennie,
I have a Prim Dritz Twin Fit. It's okay... for now.

Gravatar Great job! I am always amazed by the beautiful work that you do! It gives me something to aspire to if/when I decide to bite the bullet and put my machine to use.

Gravatar Erica,

Congrats on finishing your wardrobe! It looks great. I have yet to make that Vogue top, but it's on my list. And I have the same Vogue cut up and in cue! Good luck to you in the contest!

Gravatar Excellent!!! I can't wait until my skills are up to par. Thank you for the inspiration. Zina

Gravatar I really love your wardrobe, one of the best wardrobes I've seen so far! You are a strong candidate for the 1st prize!!

Gravatar Erica .- nice wardrobe. I like all the pieces but especially the shirt so simple and yet so original. congratulations. greetings, Paco

Gravatar Terrific wardrobe! Your clothes are always perfectly fitted and very flattering.

Gravatar Great combination of garments, I like that you managed to incorporate a bright piece with the neutrals. The pants are my favorite piece.

Gravatar I am late to the game, but wanted to tell you how much I loved this wardrobe. The color combo and creativity is fab!

Gravatar I just discovered your site today and OMG! You are amazing!! The level of workmanship is so beautiful. Love your entire wardrobe capsule that you created. You have inspired me to pull out my sewing machine.

Gravatar Thanks so much for visiting Teresa!
